Zack Warren, P.E., is the Founder and Managing Partner of Velocity Insight, a full-stack data management and analytics consulting firm built for the oil and gas industry. Based in Denver, Zack spent 16 years as a reservoir engineer at oil and gas companies from supergiants to private pure-plays before moving into data analytics while leading an in-house analytics team at an E&P. He then founded Velocity Insight to help companies make faster decisions by better understanding and leveraging their data. The firm’s approach is deliberately tool-agnostic — rather than selling software, Velocity helps clients get the most out of the tools they already pay for, pairing deep O&G domain knowledge with modern analytics platforms like Power BI and Spotfire.
